Michael T. Muha was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 50 of the Pennsylvania State Senate.

Muha is a Northwestern Pennsylvania native born in Greenville and raised in Hermitage.[1]

Following his graduation from Hickory High School, he attended Slippery Rock University, earning his B.A. in political science in 2006. He went on to earn his M.A. in political science from The American University in 2007 and his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in 2011.[2]

Muha is a practicing attorney and owns his own law firm in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.[2]

Elections for the Pennsylvania State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in that election was March 11, 2014. Michael Muha was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Michele Brooks defeated Jane Macpherson-Mrozek and Greg Lucas in the Republican primary. Brooks defeated Muha in the general election.[4][5]
