Born and raised in the values that make our community great, I've lived a life rooted in the principles of hard work, integrity, and service. As a cattleman, I've learned the importance of dedication, the value of a day's work, and the significance of standing by your word.

These are not just principles I live by; they are the foundation of my commitment to you.

My wife Lindsay and I are raising our five children on a family-operated farm in Senoia, GA and Meriwether County.

I am a small business owner in District 136 through which my wife and I instill a sense of work ethic and confidence in our children, while serving the community.

I am a partner with Smith Gambrell and Russell LLP, a 125+ year-old, Atlanta-based international law firm, where I practice in business and intellectual property law. I am a licensed patent attorney and a Solicitor under the laws of England and Wales, with an international client base. My practice allows me to serve solo inventors, entrepreneurs, and Fortune 500 companies. Every year of my legal career I have volunteered my legal services through pro-bono programs to ensure all citizens have access to the legal system.

Prior to law, I was a high school teacher and instructor at community college. My heart for teaching and coaching remains a constant in my life, and such experience allows me to present complex situations to any audience.

It is through this dynamic background that I am compelled to stand up and serve.
  • Education and Family Values: I am champion for life. Every parent wants the best for their kids, and so do I. As a dad and a former teacher, I know firsthand the power of a good education and strong family values. I'll work to make sure parents and teachers have a say in what our kids learn, ensuring they're ready for real life.
  • Agricultural, Healthcare, and Economic Prosperity: I will fight for policies that support our farmers, that expand our access to healthcare, and that foster economic growth across Georgia. I will advocate for policies that enhance innovation and freedom in these sectors so we can maintain and recruit the ‘best of the best’ in Georgia. From our farms to our hospitals, and every business in between, I'm on your side. Let's innovate and keep Georgia moving forward.
  • Unity and Respect: I believe in a District united in purpose, where every voice is heard and respected. Division serves nothing. We must unite in truth and re-build trust in those who are called to serve. We're all in this together. It's time to put aside differences and work towards what's best for our community. I promise to listen, respect, and unite. Let's rebuild trust and make sure everyone's voice is heard.
My personal view on public policy is grounded in faith in my savior Jesus Christ. Government will not save our communities, only we can build and preserve communities, and we must take on that responsibility or we lose it. I believe in reduced, but necessary government with transparency to the people and accountability for its policies.
The Bible

The Presidency and the Political System, Michael Nelson
Letters from Birmingham Jail, MLK, Jr.
Dumbing Us Down, John Taylor Gatto

Discrimination and Disparities, Thomas Sowell
Our elected officials must be transparent and accountable.
The obligation of service also includes an obligation of active community outreach. Representation and service should not be a destination or a career, but an opportunity to serve something greater than ourselves.
I only desire that I can be a testimony to glorify God. And as I work through the process, I ask for grace.
My very first job was working on various farms. Throughout my life and various careers, my family has always kept one foot in agriculture and I continue that today on our family farm, where we are raising our five children.

Outside of farming, my first job was McDonald's. We had a great owner and managers, and even though we cut up with our friends, when it was time to work, we delivered. And we got a free meal for every shift.
Many representatives have lost their connection with the people they are supposed to serve. Without transparency, we cannot establish a state of truth. When truth is exposed, them accountability may be delivered.
