The most important characteristics or principles for an elected official are integrity, honesty, and the understanding that the role is to represent all of your constituents to the best of your ability.
The core responsibilities are to help advocate for policies that are in the best interest of the people, families, and businesses in House District 15.
In this role, I would like to ensure that our community is strong for our children and grandchildren, not just to live, but to build a successful life. It is my goal to contribute to that vision by helping enact the policies ensure our schools are top notch, that our communities are places where economic opportunities exist, and that it is safe to raise a family.
I believe that it is beneficial for state legislators to have leadership experience, a servant's heart, and to have authentic ties to their community.
It is incredibly beneficial to build relationships with other legislators and it is essential in order to rise above partisan polarization.
