Renita Barksdale
Renita Barksdale was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 26 of the South Carolina House of Representatives. She was removed from the ballot in the wake of a May 2 Supreme Court decision which eventually led to the disqualification of over 200 candidates in South Carolina.

Barksdale filed to run in the 2012 election for South Carolina House of Representatives District 26. She would have run unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. Incumbent Garry R. Smith (R) ran unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
