Sandy Murray
Sandy Murray filed to run in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 80. Murray ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Murray then withdrew from the race in order to run for mayor of Brookhaven.[1]
Murray was also a 2010 Democratic candidate for District 80 in the Georgia House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections. She lost the general election.

2012
Murray filed to run in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 80. Murray ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Incumbent Mike Jacobs (R) ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Murray withdrew from the race following the primary election in order to run for mayor of Brookhaven.[2] The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
2010
Murray defeated Keith Gross in the July 20 primary by a margin of 934-433.[4]
