Scott Goodwin was born in El Paso, Texas. He attended the University of Colorado. Goodwin’s career experience includes working as the Creative Principal and Director of Design for a development company in Dallas.[1]

With this special election being called on August 6th for August 31st, I concluded this was a typical rush to favor another crony. When I asked myself who is going to run against this guy -- I heard God say "you are". I trust He has His reasons -- winning may or may not be His purpose. I am confident we will understand His purpose in hind sight. I have entered this race at His call and trusting His outcome.
I need to be able to look my grandchildren in the eye and say "I am doing everything possible to protect your future".- 'States Rights' is the key to bringing about real and meaningful 1776 Constitutional Rule and limiting the Federal Government overreach and unconstitutional ruining of America.
- I will support and press forward to abolish abortion -- in particular, take this issue out of Federal jurisdiction and back in the hands of the states.
- The Federal Government has no authority to regulate (in an attempt to thwart the 2nd Amendment) the manufacture, distribution, sale or ownership of arms of any kind.
Teddy Roosevelt, he knew himself and used it in powerful ways to overcome many personal and political challenges.
It completely changed the way I looked at our politics and society, and gave me insight as to how to bend minds.
