June 4, 2025: Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters say this is a good time to be looking for a job. A Napolitan News Service national survey conducted by RMG Research found 40% say this is a bad time to be looking for a job.
The survey also found 29% say from what they know, businesses in their area are more likely to be hiring people. Twenty-eight percent (28%) say they are more likely to be laying people off, and 25% say neither.
Methodology
The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on May 27-28, 2025. Fieldwork for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. Certain quotas were applied, and the sample was lightly weighted by geography, gender, age, race, education, internet usage, and political party to reasonably reflect the nation’s population of Registered Voters. Other variables were reviewed to ensure that the final sample is representative of that population. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points.
