Trae Welch
Trae Welch (Republican Party) was a member of the Baton Rouge Metro Council in Louisiana, representing District 1. Welch assumed office in 2009. Welch left office on December 31, 2020.
Welch (Republican Party) ran in a special election for the Section 2, Division L judge of the Louisiana 19th Judicial District Court. Welch lost in the special general election on November 16, 2019.
Biography
Welch received his B.S. from the University of Louisiana - Monroe, and his J.D. from Southern University.[1] He went on to become a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Metro Council and to run a private law practice. Welch formerly served as a prosecutor for the City of Zachary. Prior earning to his degrees, Welch was a police officer.[1][2]
