Pamela Evette (Republican Party) is the Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina. She assumed office on January 9, 2019. Her current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Evette (Republican Party) is running for election for Governor of South Carolina. She declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]
Evette also ran for re-election for Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina. She will not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 3, 2026.
Biography
As of 2018, Evette was the president and CEO of Quality Business Solutions and president of Sunkiko, Inc. She had also worked as an accounting consultant and software trainer for PayPlus Software, Inc., and as a controller for Premium Enterprises, Inc. Evette earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Cleveland State University.[1][2]
