Paul Godfrey was a Democratic candidate in the November 8, 2011, special election for the Georgia House of Representatives, District 25. Elections
2011
Godfrey, the race's only Democrat, faced Republicans Bobby Banks, Emory West Dunahoo Jr., Dominic Ottaviano, Todd Reed, William Sykes, and Kris Yardley. Since no candidate received a majority of the vote on November 8, the top two vote-getters—Banks and Dunahoo—proceeded to a runoff election on December 6.[2][3]
