Bob Deelstra
Bob Deelstra was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 9 of the South Dakota House of Representatives.[1] Deelstra is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 9 from 2011 to 2013.
Biography
Deelstra works as a sales professional. He previously ran for office unsuccessfully in 2002.[2]

2014
Elections for the South Dakota House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Incumbent Paula Hawks and Holly Boltjes-Johnson were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Steve Hickey and Bob Deelstra were unopposed in the Republican primary. Boltjes-Johnson withdrew after the primary, and was replaced by Becky Jaspers on the general election ballot. Hawks (D) and Hickey (R) defeated Jaspers (D) and Deeltra (R) in the general election.[1][3][4]

Deelstra ran for re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 9. Deelstra ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and was defeated in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5]
2010
Bob Deelstra and Steve Hickey (R) won election in the November 2 general election.[6]
