Henry Jones, Jr.

Henry L. Jones, Jr. was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. He was first appointed to this position in December of 1978 and retired from the court effective April 16, 2010.[1] He was replaced by Jerome Kearney.[2]

Career

Jones began his career in 1972 as a legal clerk to U.S. District Judge Thomas Eisele. The following year, he clerked for U.S. Circuit Judge Gerald Heaney. Jones then worked as a private practice lawyer from 1974 to 1978, when he was appointed U.S. Magistrate Judge.[1]
