Edmund Brennan

Edmund F. Brennan was a federal magistrate judge with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He was first appointed to this court on August 21, 2006.[1]

Education

Judge Brennan earned a B.A. degree from Doane College in 1973 and a J.D. degree from the Southwestern University School of Law in 1979.[1]

Career

Judge Brennan began his career in 1984 as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Edward Garcia. In 1988, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of California. He worked in various positions in this office, including Chief of the Civil Division, until he was appointed magistrate judge in 2006.[1]
