William Alexander Cant
William Alexander Cant (1863-1933) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
He received a recess appointment from President Warren Harding on May 21, 1923 to fill the seat vacated by Page Morris. On December 15, 1923, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 15, 1924, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on January 12, 1933. Cant was succeeded in this position by Robert Cook Bell.
