Tom Glover was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 24 of the Montana House of Representatives.

Campaign themes

2012

Glover listed the following issues on his website:[1]

Jobs: Tom Glover believes you want to bring high paying jobs back to this state, we need to help people develop needed skills to help them find jobs and ensure a good education system. Our education system must include an effective pre-K through 16 system, career-technical education, and smart workforce development.
Energy: Tom wants to work hard to develop energy policies which protect those who are vulnerable and invest in energy that positions Montana for growth.
Be honest, focus on the true issues: The last biennial budget contained misleading numbers and a budget surplus that didn’t benefit a single Montanan. Rather than stonewall and debate endlessly Tom wants to join other legislators to get on with their business. We all want a bright Montana future, we have to make decisions, and we need to move on to other problems.

Dignity and Safety: Our senior citizens, our families, our students, and our vulnerable populations deserve dignity through decent health insurance and neighborhoods safe from ravages of recession and poverty.
