Albert Matricciani
Albert J. Matricciani, Jr. was a judge at-large on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the intermediate appellate court for the state of Maryland. He took office on September 2, 2008, and was most recently retained on November 2, 2010, to a 10-year term. However, Matricciani retired before the end of his current term on May 1, 2014.[1][2]
2010 election
Matricciani was retained to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals on November 2, 2010, with 83.61 percent of voters in favor.[2]

Education
Matricciani received his undergraduate degree in English from Villanova University in 1969 and his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1973. From 1969 to 1975, he served in the Maryland Air National Guard. In 1975, he received his M.L.A. degree from the Johns Hopkins University.[1]
Career
Matricciani practiced law in Baltimore from 1974 to 1995. He was a partner at the law firm of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston from 1987 to 1995. He has been a member of numerous legal and civic associations throughout his career. On January 20, 1995, he became an associate judge for the Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial District. He held this position until he became an appellate judge at-large in 2008.[1]
