Julie has a passion to serve and is heavily involved in faith-based and community volunteerism, civic engagement and other opportunities to encourage and serve charitable ministries and small businesses.
Julie has served as full time volunteer at her church FBC Sutherland Springs, having led the community food pantry, served on the safety team, cared for the church grounds and served as trustee for two years. She is a founding director of a San Antonio youth development nonprofit organization and founded a nonprofit charitable ministry, The Garden, in 2024.
Julie has also served in volunteer leadership in several local county Republican parties and clubs since 2019, served as a delegate to the Texas GOP convention and legislative priorities committee for years, and has managed two other state legislative campaigns in South Texas.- CITIZEN-LED GOVERNANCE, SERVANT LEADERSHIP & TERM LIMITS Public officials need to understand that they work for you! A government truly of, by and for WE THE PEOPLE. We must rid our public offices of those compromised by uni-party control and intimidation, motivated primarily by money, power and their reelection. We must replace them with regular, hard-working people who you can trust to be honest, be transparent and welcome you to learn and participate in the process with them, having your family's best interests at heart. This campaign and this seat belong to the constituents of this district, and if elected, I will represent them as such.
- INSISTING ON CREDIBLE FISCAL STEWARDSHIP & TRANSPARENCY - AUDIT EVERY PENNY Every lawmaker & state agency leadership team should operate with the mindset that they are spending OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY. Elected officials serving their constituents should aggressively examine every opportunity for the state to eliminate wasteful & unnecessary spending of taxpayer funds. We must be able to have confidence that elected officials will proactively inform & educate citizens of wasteful, extravagant or corrupt spending, help citizens understand, in laymen's terms, by uncomplicating complexities & encouraging advocacy for good stewardship of taxpayer funds, in order to be a force for holding our government accountable.
- My highest priorities are: PROTECTING TEXANS' MEDICAL FREEDOM DEMANDING ELECTION INTEGRITY & SECURITY ABOLISHING ABORTION FOR GOOD - EQUAL PROTECTION WATER SECURITY & ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRESERVING THE PROTECTIONS OF SECOND AMENDMENT ABOLISHING PROPERTY TAXES EDUCATION SYSTEM REFORM - FROM FUNDAMENTALS TO FUNDING BORDER SECURITY & SUPPORTING DEPORTATION OF ILLEGAL TRESPASSERS

I am a nonprofit and communications professional by trade, helping leaders with their back-end admin and communications and fund development, so that they can be free to focus on their areas of genius. My most rewarding roles have been in serving individuals and families in important causes in our communities, such as homelessness, substance use addiction recovery, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and active duty military and veterans. I have been blessed to work directly with individuals and families working through some of the most trying times in their lives, working hard to heal and reach success, by taking personal responsibility of creating positive change in their lives.
I grew up in Florida and moved to Texas with my family in 1991. I joined the U.S. Army shortly thereafter, building the mission-critical devices "BCGs" during my time serving new recruits at the Reception Station at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
I am most comfortable and personally fulfilled by working with people who are willing to challenge and be challenged, as we mutually strive to a closer relationship with Jesus, in service to others. God has given me the gift to stand for others, the responsibility to defend and protect them, and the blessing of being the encourager as folks a- RETURNING OUR LEGISLATURE TO SERVANT LEADERSHIP: Public officials need to understand that they work for you! A government truly of, by and for WE THE PEOPLE. I will fight alongside you for the needs in our communities and earn your respect. We must rid our public offices of establishment control and intimidation and replace them with regular, hard-working people who you can trust to have your family's best interests at heart.
- ABOLISHING ABORTION FOR GOOD: Any laws based on Roe vs. Wade permitting the intentional brutal murder of a child without criminal prosecution are unconstitutional and should be abolished. Personhood of a preborn child has already been established in Texas law. Preborn children should have equal protection under the law. Anything less amounts to tolerating the tens of thousands of child murders each year. No part of abortion is healthcare nor is it reproductive health.
- DEMANDING ELECTION INTEGRITY & SECURITY: There has been great progress made this last year in securing our elections, but there is more work to be done, beginning with increasing criminal penalties for fraudulent voting and corrupt election activities. We must continually work to improve the public trust in the integrity of our election process. As well, we need to be better educators of the election process overall to our fellow Texans.
