Charisse E. Millett
Charisse Millett (Republican Party) was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 25. Millett assumed office on January 20, 2015. Millett left office on January 15, 2019.
Millett (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 25. Millett lost in the Republican primary on August 21, 2018.
Millett served as House minority leader.
Biography
Millett graduated from A.J. Dimond High School in 1981. She later attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage from 1981 to 1983. Millett's professional experience includes working as a commercial fisher and as a legislative and administrative staffer from 2005 to 2007.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Patti Higgins was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while District 24 incumbent Charisse E. Millett won re-election to the 30th District seat in 2010. She defeated Jeannette O. Reddington in the August 24 primary.[13] She then defeated Lynda L. Zaugg in the November 2 general election.[14]
