Linda Cerva was a candidate for at-large representative on the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education in Colorado. The general election was held on November 3, 2015.[1] Linda Cerva lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Cerva has degrees in paralegal studies and business administration. She has worked as a paralegal and a tax adviser. She spent years as a political volunteer during which she worked for state Rep. Su Ryden (D), state Sen. President Morgan Carroll (D) and state Sen. Evie Hudak (D). Cerva has also acted as second chair for Arapahoe County Democrats and as first vice chair of Colorado House District 36.[2]

Three of the seven seats on the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. All three seats up for election were at-large seats.

Incumbents Dan Jorgensen and Cathy Wildman filed for re-election while Mary W. Lewis was unable to run due to term limits. The incumbents faced challengers Grant Barrett, Linda Cerva, Monica Colbert, Billie Day, and Michael Donald.[1] Jorgensen and Wildman were successful in winning re-election and Colbert won election to the remaining seat.
