Billie Day
Billie Day was a candidate for at-large representative on the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education in Colorado. The general election was held on November 3, 2015.[1] Billie Day lost the general election on November 3, 2015.
Biography
Day has a Ph.D. in education and a master's in African history. She is a retired high school teacher who worked for inner-city and college preparatory schools in Washington, D.C. Day moved to Aurora in 2006.[2]

Three of the seven seats on the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. All three seats up for election were at-large seats.
Incumbents Dan Jorgensen and Cathy Wildman filed for re-election while Mary W. Lewis was unable to run due to term limits. The incumbents faced challengers Grant Barrett, Linda Cerva, Monica Colbert, Billie Day, and Michael Donald.[1] Jorgensen and Wildman were successful in winning re-election and Colbert won election to the remaining seat.
