Richard Y. AtLee, Jr. is a judge on the Virginia Court of Appeals. He joined the court on February 1, 2015.[1]
Prior to joining the court of appeals, he was a judge on the 9th Judicial Circuit in Virginia. He was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly in July 2011. His term began on August 1, 2011 and would have expired on July 31, 2019.[2][3]
Education
AtLee received his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his J.D. from the William & Mary Law School.[4]
Career
Before his election to the 9th Judicial Circuit, AtLee was a district court judge for the 9th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Virginia.[5][6]
