Larry Elder (Virginia)
Larry G. Elder was a judge on the Virginia Court of Appeals. He took the bench in 1991, and his term was to expire on April 30, 2015. However, on September 4, 2013, Elder announced his retirement from the court. Elder's retirement became effective October 1, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Elder received his undergraduate degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University and his J.D. from the University of Richmond.[3]
Career
Before he became a judge, Elder served as a commonwealth's attorney and as a county attorney for Dinwiddie County.[2]
