Robert Damron
Robert R. Damron (b. June 20, 1954) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 39 from 1993 to 2015. He served as Majority Caucus Chairman from 2009 to 2013. Damron did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Damron's professional experience includes working as a Financial Advisor/Investment Banker/Securities Agent with Ross, Sinclaire & Associates and self-employed insurance agent.

Damron won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 39. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Matt Lockett (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
2010
Damron's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Peter Kerr. According to official results, Damron defeated Kerr by a margin of 8,745 to 7,402. Damron ran unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary election.[4][5]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Damron was re-elected to the 39th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating Chris W. Moore (R).[6] Damron raised $308,231 for his campaign, while Moore raised $23,590.[7]

Board of Directors, Employment Solutions Board of Directors, PACE Board at Asbury College, Bluegrass Council Executive Board - Boy Scouts of America, Nicholasville Christian Church, Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association and the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce.[8]
