Biography
Martin LaLonde was born in Lynwood, California, and lives in Vermont. LaLonde earned a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. His career experience includes working in sales before law school and then as an attorney after law school. He clerked for Judge John Butzner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Virginia and for Judge Paul Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. LaLonde also worked at the Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources division in Washington, D.C. LaLonde served on the South Burlington school board from 2010 to 2021.[1]
