The Finance Committee is a standing committee of the Alaska State Senate.

Per the Uniform Rules, committees of the Alaska State Senate are assigned by the Committee on Committees. The Committee on Committees is appointed and chaired by the presiding officer and has five members. Committees are assigned after each election. What constitutes a quorum for committees is not defined.

Function

According to Uniform Rule 20-a, the Finance Committee has jurisdiction over "all appropriation, revenue, capital improvement, and bonding measures, the executive budget, and the programs and activities of the Department of Revenue."
