Harvey J. Bressler was a judge on the Ohio Twelfth District Court of Appeals. He was elected to this position on November 2, 2004, and took office on February 9, 2005.[1] His last six-year term ended on February 8, 2011.[2][3]
Education
Bressler served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in 1964 and his law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1968.[3]
Career
Bressler began his legal career in 1968 as a private practice lawyer. He worked in this capacity until 1997. From 1981 to 1996, he also served on the Butler County Court. He then joined the Butler County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, where he served until his election to the Court of Appeals in 2004.[3]
