Janis Judson
Janis Judson was a 2014 candidate for the Orphans Court of Frederick County in Frederick County, Maryland.[1]

Judson ran for election to the Orphans Court of Frederick County.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 33.7 percent of the vote. She competed against James Edward French and Bonnie L. Nicholson. Primary candidates ran unopposed for 3 seats.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 13.4 percent of the vote. She competed against James Edward French, Bonnie L. Nicholson, Jimmy W. Trout, and incumbent judges, Adrian Remsberg and Cleopatra Campbell for three open seats.

Judson has a bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree, all from the University of Maryland.[3]
Career
Judson is the professor and sirector of the law and criminal justice program at Hood College.[4]
