Joel Boniek
Joel Boniek (b. June 29, 1961) was a Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Montana in the 2012 election. He ran on a ticket with Bob Fanning. The two finished last in the June 5th primary.[1]
Boniek served previously in the Montana House of Representatives, representing the 61st District from 2008 to 2011.

Boniek sought the Republican nomination for Lt. Governor of Montana. He and his running mate, Bob Fanning, finished last in the June 5th Republican primary election.[1]
2010
Boniek ran for re-election to the District 61 seat in 2010, but lost in the June 8 primary to John Esp by a margin of 1,512-1,347. The general election took place on November 2, 2010. His opponent filed a political practices complaint in Dec. 2012, alleging that Boniek's campaign coordinated illegally with the Western Traditions Partnership, now known as the American Traditions Partnership.[3]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Joel Boniek ran unopposed and won the seat to the Montana House of Representatives for District 61, receiving 3,438 votes.
Boniek raised $9,887 for his campaign.[4]
