Kennard P. Foster
Kennard P. Foster was a recalled magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He was first appointed magistrate judge in 1986. On November 1, 2002, he assumed recall status.[1]
Education
Judge Foster received his undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 1966 and his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in 1970.[1]
Career
Judge Foster began his career in 1970 as a Special Agent for the F.B.I. The following year, he joined the law firm of Jones, Foster & Loveall. He then worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney from 1976 until his judicial appointment in 1986.[1]
