Laura Sanchez was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 13 of the New Mexico State Senate.

Sanchez was running in the 2012 election for New Mexico State Senate District 13. She would have run against Chris S. Catechis, Bill B. Oneill and Carlos S. Cordova in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. O'Neill won the primary. Incumbent Dede Feldman (D) did not run for re-election. No Republicans filed for the district.[1][2]

Sanchez failed to appear on the primary ballot and official candidate lists.[3][4]
