  • In June 2013, O'Malley traveled to France and Ireland on a trade mission. He attended the International Paris Air Show, had "meetings with aerospace companies Lockheed Martin, BAE and Thales, and a reception with the U.S. ambassador to France." He also met with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny. O'Malley said, "The Paris Air Show is truly a unique opportunity to help our Maryland companies explore new opportunities for investment and trade, and to encourage leaders from many of the world’s largest aerospace companies to choose Maryland as the ideal place to establish operations."[4]
