Michael Hluchaniuk was a federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He served in this position from 2008 to 2016.[1][2]

Education

Judge Hluchaniuk earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1969 and his law degree from Wayne State University in 1972.[1]

Career

Judge Hluchaniuk worked for the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Jackson County Legal Aid Society, the Greater Lansing Legal Aid Bureau, and the Eastern District of Michigan U.S. Attorney’s Office. He also worked as a private practice lawyer.[1]
