Paul J. Komives was a recalled federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He was first appointed in 1971, when the position of U.S. Magistrate had just been created, and served on active duty until 2012. He served as a recalled magistrate judge until his retirement on January 6, 2015.[1][2]
Career
Prior to becoming a magistrate, Paul Komives worked as an assistant U.S. attorney.[1]
