Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 51 is represented by five delegates. Incumbents Tony Barill, Barbara Fleischauer, and Charlene Marshall and John Williams and Nancy Jamison defeated Michael Safcsak and Marti Shamberger in the Democratic primary. Incumbents Cindy Frich and Amanda Pasdon and Brian Kurcaba, Joe Statler and Bill Flanigan defeated Todd Stainbrook and Roger Shuttlesworth in the Republican primary. Fleischauer, Frich, Kurcaba, Pasdon and Statler defeated Barill, Marshall, Williams, Jamison, Flanigan and Ed Olesh (L) in the general election.[1][2]
