William Caye II (Republican Party, Democratic Party) ran for election for judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. Caye (Republican Party) lost in the general election on November 2, 2021. He lost in the Democratic primary on May 18, 2021. He advanced from the Republican primary on May 18, 2021.
Caye was a 2017 candidate for a seat on the Pennsylvania Superior Court.[1] He was defeated in the primary election on May 16, 2017. He previously was a 2015 candidate for the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.
Biography
Caye received his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law. He was a senior deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania in its Child Predator Unit. He also served as a law clerk for former Chief Judge Donald Ziegler of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and as a legal advisor to Judge Cynthia A. Baldwin of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.[2]
