Jayne Crosby Giles (Republican Party) ran for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 11. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
She was a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives. She represented the 43rd District from 2006 to 2010.
Biography
Giles is vice president and a commercial banking pfficer at Machias Savings Bank. She previously worked as vice president/market manager for Camden National Bank from 2000 to 2008, and in lending management at Key Bank from 1978 to 2000.
Giles is a member of the Abnaki Girl Scout Council Board, an incorporator at Waldo County General Hospital, board member of Broadreach Family Services Personnel Committee, board member of Waldo County General Hospital Scholarship Committee, board member of United Mid-Coast Charities, and vice-chair for the Waldo County Young Men's Christian Association.[1]
