With over 24 years of customer service and success, I know how to lead a team that will inform and help the residents of Marion County record documents that are important to their lives. My drive and success are fueled, in part, by offering my services where needed and advocating for the community. Given my background, my politics, and professed values and ideals, there will be no doubt about my ability to always put the customer and their records first.

Gentrification is a highly contested issue. Currently, Gentrification has the power to displace low-income families and prevent those families from moving into previously affordable neighborhoods. As the next Marion County Recorder, I want to make sure all deeds that have been digitized are indexed so residents can easily find their land documents. I want low-income families to have access to their deeds before they are displaced.
Makes a complete, accurate, and permanent record of every document
Maintains permanent land records, retains them in archival form, and
making them constantly accessible to the public.
Ensures that every document received is accurately filed, recorded and
indexed.
Serves on the county’s RECORD COMMISSION which authorizes the
retention of county records and determines when or how these
government records may be disposed of.
Collects fees for documents in the county’s general fund
Maintains an accurate record of all monies appropriated to the Recorder’s
office for its operation.
Performs all accounting functions necessary to the operation of the

For example, they can file-a-uniform-commercial-code-ucch, record-a-military-discharge, file-a-mechanics-lien, record-to-do-business-as-dba, remove-a-deceased-person-from-title and much more.
