Earline Rogers
Earline Rogers (b. December 20, 1934) is a former Democratic member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 3 from 1990 to 2016.
Rogers served as Minority Whip. She also served as President and Member of the Gary City Council from 1980 to 1982, and in the Indiana House of Representatives from 1982 to 1990.
Rogers declined to seek re-election in 2016.[1]
Biography
Rogers earned her B.S. and M.S. from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1957 and 1971, respectively. Her professional experience includes working as a teacher for Gary Community School Corporation and as an education consultant.

Rogers won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana State Senate District 3. Rogers defeated David Vinzant and Darren Washington in the May 8 Democratic primary[6]and ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
