|- HEALTHCARE A moral society cares about the health care of its people. Health care is a basic human need, just like housing and food. I believe that our lowest-income neighbors should have access to health care and preventative services like the rest of us. Your socio-economic background should not determine your ability to access affordable health care.
- EDUCATION Our children are the future of our state. I believe they need the best education we can give them. We need to understand that education is the bedrock upon which Democracy is built. A strong, well-funded public education system is very important to all Minnesotans and will assist us in the long-term growth of our economy.
- AFFORDABLE HOUSING All Minnesotan's, of any age and income level and in every part of the State, should have the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing. In recent decades, home prices and rental rates have increased faster than income, increasing the need for affordable housing.
