Joan Poston
Joan Poston (Republican Party) ran for election to the Colorado House of Representatives to represent District 23. Poston lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Poston was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Denver Board of Education in Colorado. She lost her election bid against member-elect Barbara O'Brien on November 5, 2013.
Biography
Poston earned a B.S. in Microbiology and Medical Technology from Colorado State University. She worked as a medical technologist with Denver Health and the Denver Zoo until her retirement. Poston also worked as a reading assistant in district schools for five years. She previously served on the District School Accountability Committee. Poston and her husband have one child.[1]
