On her campaign website, Smith lists her campaign motto as "Economic Growth; Fiscal Responsibility." She goes on to explain, "The three prongs of our platform are economic development, education, and environmental sustainability. Each of these issues are interdependent and support the goal of creating economic growth in our District while demonstrating fiscal responsibility."[3]
