2014
Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Mike Pushkin defeated Archie Chestnut, Brad Heflin, Richard Lindsay and Robert Sheets in the Democratic primary. Charles Minimah was unopposed in the Republican primary. Pushkin defeated Minimah in the general election. Tadd Haynes (R) withdrew before the primary.[1][3]

2010
Minimah ran in the 2010 election for West Virginia State Senate District 17. Minimah was defeated by Democratic incumbent Brooks McCabe in the general election on November 2, 2010. Minimah was unopposed in the Republican primary election on May 11, 2010.[4][5]
