Claude Bouchard was a 2016 Republican candidate for the Franklin-3-1 District of the Vermont House of Representatives.
Bouchard was also a 2014 Republican candidate for Franklin-3-1 District of the Vermont House of Representatives.[1]
Biography
Bouchard's professional experience includes working as a small business owner and instructor in technical education.[2]

Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election took place on August 9, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was May 26, 2016.
Incumbent Kathleen Keenan and incumbent Corey Parent defeated Mike McCarthy and Claude Bouchard in the Vermont House of Representatives Franklin-3-1 District general election.[3][4]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Franklin-3-1 has two state representatives. Incumbents Kathleen Keenan and Mike McCarthy were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Claude Bouchard and Corey Parent were unopposed in the Republican primary.[1][7][8][9] Keenan and Parent defeated Bouchard and McCarthy in the general election.[10]

Bouchard ran in the 2012 election for Vermont House of Representatives Franklin 3-1. He was defeated by Casey Toof and Stephen Trahan in the Republican primary on August 28, 2012. The two who receive the most votes will advance to the general election on November 6, 2012.[11]
