Bouchard was also a 2014 Republican candidate for Franklin-3-1 District of the Vermont House of Representatives.[1]

Bouchard's professional experience includes working as a small business owner and instructor in technical education.[2]

Incumbent Kathleen Keenan and incumbent Corey Parent defeated Mike McCarthy and Claude Bouchard in the Vermont House of Representatives Franklin-3-1 District general election.[3][4]

Elections for the Vermont House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 12, 2014. Franklin-3-1 has two state representatives. Incumbents Kathleen Keenan and Mike McCarthy were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Claude Bouchard and Corey Parent were unopposed in the Republican primary.[1][7][8][9] Keenan and Parent defeated Bouchard and McCarthy in the general election.[10]
