I am resident of Onondaga County and the Town of Geddes in the 129th Assembly District of New York State. Married to Jeanette Weber and we have five adult children and one granddaughter. I am retired from Law Enforcement after completing 46 years in my community. I am presently the Deputy Town Supervisor of the Town of Geddes. I won elections in 2013 and 2017 for Town Councilor at Large.
  • Criminal Justice Bail Reform Act
  • Term Limits for elected officials
  • A voice for Law Enforcement Officers
The Criminal Justice Bail Reform Act to have it repealed for the safety of our neighborhoods , so people are not victims of the present law. A person is responsible for their acts. The State of New York has to review the present Penal Law and criminal Procedure Law for what really is a violent act and to have bail set according. Bring back discretion for Law Enforcement and Criminal Court Judges.

People of the 129th Assembly District want to be informed of bill legislation before it is passed, not once a year Town Hall Meetings.

Also Law Enforcement Officers and Officials need a voice in Albany instead introducing bill legislation without consulting with the Law Enforcement Community.

Term Limits of elected officials is needed because some elected officials make a career of their office, we do need change instead of taking advantage of the constituents.

Personally, I'm a hands on person, and I would and do presently sit down with my constituents one on one to show them what I can do and can't do. You have to be upfront and truthful.
Transparency is very important. You have to tell like it is and not to make promises.
Truthful and Upfront

Listen to people
Problem Solver
Understand people as an average person

Timely
Knowledge of his/her district and listen to the constituents instead of passing the constituent off to someone else.
Just that I served the constituents the right way
Running for Town Councilor in the Town of Geddes for the first time, which no body knew who I was and then winning a second election. I was 62 years old the first time I ran for Public Office.
Derek Jeter unfiltered - How he became a ball player and how it was ending for him.
Reality of the world in this time of unrest and illness.
The Assembly and the Senate of the State of New York introduces, analyzes and debates legislated bills and passes bills on public matters and sets spending such as raising taxes or lowering taxes and can uphold or override gubernatorial vetoes. The difference is the number of representatives, which is good because the assembly people have knowledge of what is vastly needed in their locality .

I don't believe having previous experience in government or politics to hold office, that is why we need term limits to have a change. Term limits permits a citizen to get involved with new ideas.
To lower taxes , improve infrastructure, safer neighborhoods, and keep the constituent from moving to another state . Weneed more businesses to come to our state to improve our economy.
Ideal relationship is "working together to make a difference " instead of being one sided.
Yes, I do because problems might be the same in each locality and working together could help solved the problem together.
Yes, I am in favor of redistricting but has to be fair so it does not favor the present legislator who is in office.
I have hear many personal stories from my constituents in the Town of Geddes but one stands out as being very memorable to help an elderly person to get her mail in the winter. This elderly person lives by herself in a home and has to walk down the street to a group mailbox and she wanted her mail to be delivered to her house instead walking down the street. At the present time I am working with a Congress person to change the mail delivery. The elderly person told me I was the best.
