New Jersey held elections for the General Assembly and Senate, and Virginia held elections for the House of Delegates. The race decided by fewer than 100 votes was for Virginia House of Delegates District 91.

That district changed partisan control. Aijalon Cordoza (R) defeated incumbent Martha Mugler (D) by 94 votes. Charles West (L) received 417 votes, and there were 31 write-in votes.
