Frank Anderson
Frank Anderson was a Democratic candidate for District 31 of the Indiana State Senate.
Anderson was selected to fill a candidate vacancy left by Lettie Oliver. Oliver, who was running for the District 31 State Senate seat, passed away in March 2010. According to Indiana law, Ms. Oliver's name could not be removed from the ballot. Therefore, the Democratic Party selected Anderson to fill the ballot slot for November 2.

Anderson ran unopposed in the May 4 primary election.[1] Anderson lost to Republican incumbent James Merritt, Jr. by a margin of 16,545 to 14,187 in the November 2, 2010, general election. Libertarian candidate Benjamin Hale also ran in the general election, receiving 827 votes.[2]
