Jane A. Jech was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 71 of the Iowa House of Representatives. She ran unsuccessfully for District 36 of the Iowa State Senate in 2012.

Biography

Jech earned her B.S. in Music Education from Iowa State University. Her professional experience includes working as a substitute teacher for Marshalltown School District.[1]

Jech ran in the 2012 election for Iowa State Senate District 36. She defeated Larry McKibben in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. Jech was defeated by District 22 incumbent Steve Sodders (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
