Jeannine Pearce was a member of the Long Beach City Council in California, representing District 2. Pearce assumed office in 2016. Pearce left office on December 15, 2020.

Pearce ran for re-election to the Long Beach City Council to represent District 2 in California. Pearce won in the general election on June 7, 2016.

In 2019, Pearce announced she would not seek re-election in 2020.[1]

Pearce grew up in Texas. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Long Beach State University in 2009. Her professional experience includes serving as vice-chair of the City of Long Beach's Human Relations Committee, a member of Mayor Robert Garcia's transition team, and director of the Long Beach Coalition for Good Jobs and a Healthy Community. She helped start Long Beach Rising, which promotes civic participation, alliance building, voter engagement, and community organizing.[2]

The city of Long Beach, California, held primary elections for city council on April 12, 2016. The general election was held on June 7, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 15, 2016. Four of the eight city council seats were up for election.[3] Jeannine Pearce defeated Eric Gray in the Long Beach City Council District 2 general election.[4]
