Davis' website highlighted the following campaign themes:[7]

Be safer to protect our families

  • Excerpt: "I support equipping our police force with the resources they need to protect our families and homes. I also believe it is my duty to ensure that the residents of District B are provided with excellent fire protection, fire prevention, and emergency medical services. We must work to reduce response times from first responders to District B."

Build better neighborhoods

  • Excerpt: "I want to honor the vibrant history of District B by initiating programs which monitor illegal dumping, abandoned buildings and homes, and infested vacant lots. Our pot-holed filled streets need repairing, and our outdated sewage system needs updating. As a resident of District B, I want our neighborhoods to be places where our families can live, work, and play together."

Bring economic opportunity

  • Excerpt: "I plan to ensure that locally-owned businesses have the tools they need to succeed. That means working with entrepreneurs and small business owners to create programs that educate, provide support, and build relationships with investors, creditors, and consumers. To take District B to the next level, our district must be known as a place where skilled and talented people can access good jobs. As the city councilman representing District B I will do everything possible to foster a business environment that promotes job creation."
