Joseph W. Howard was a judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division Two.[1] He was appointed to the court by Republican Governor Fife Symington on March 27, 1997, and was retained in 2000, 2006, and 2012.[2][3][4][5][6] His retirement from the bench was announced in 2017.[7]
Education
Howard received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Arizona State University in 1972 and his J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law in 1976.[1]
Career
Howard was in private practice primarily in Casa Grande, Arizona, from 1976 until his appointment to the Arizona Court of Appeals in 1997.[1]

Howard was retained to the Arizona Court of Appeals with 76.59 percent of the vote in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][8]
